  The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) opened its fiscal year 2009 – 2010 with the UAPSA0910 Tripartite. The three-part event lasted from August 1 to 2, 2009. It aims to strengthen the teamwork among chapter officers, build camaraderie among national chapters, and imbibe leadership into any official post.

The first of the three activities was the National Chapters’ Teambuilding Event entitled “Take the LEAP : Leadership through Altruistic Professionalism” was held August 1 at the MultiPurpose Hall, La Mesa Ecopark, Quezon City. Headed by then Incoming National Treasurer Kim Paulo L. Quizon, uapsa-mit, and then Incoming National Auditor Juanito Alipio A. Dela Rosa, uapsa-ust, the event was filled with group dynamics which encouraged friendships between UAPSA chapter officers from all over the Philippines. More than 200 officers from 32 national chapters came to participate in the event.

 The Grand Chapter Presidents’ Assembly was held August 2 at the UAP Gallery, UAP Headquarters, Scout Rallos. Conducted simultaneously with the Congress of the Council of Secretaries, it was attended by over 30 chapter presidents. Then Incoming National President Kristoffer John R. Coronel, uapsa-feu, presided over the meeting, checking on chapter membership campaigns, briefing them on the UAPSA corporate thrusts adapted from the UAP, giving them a heads-up on upcoming national activities, and basically evaluating the chapters.

Lastly, the UAPSA0910 National Board Induction Ceremony was held at the Teatro Arkitekto, UAP Headquarters, Scout Rallos the night of August 2. Around 130 chapter officers and 10 advisers attended the said event which formally swore the National Board and Chapter Boards into office. The event was graced by the presence of Arch. Ana S. Mangalino – Ling, fuap, apec, UAP National President; Arch. Leah Ybañez – Martin, uap, Chairperson on the Committee of UAP Auxiliary Groups; Arch. Cerise Anne A. Mina, uap, UAPSA Chairperson; and the adviser and executive officers of the United Architects of the Philippines Graduate Auxiliary (UAPGA).
